In addition to easy access to the region’s economic engines, the Port of Savannah and Savannah Hilton Head International Airport, Liberty County’s proximity to Savannah offers lifestyle options. It’s the best of two worlds. The Hostess City of the South is close enough to local jobs that many employees of our industries live there and commute.

And Liberty County residents have Savannah within easy driving distance to play. The city’s River Street, the region’s premiere restaurant and nightlife area, is just over a half hour’s drive from Liberty County. Golf courses, parks, museums, and other cultural destinations dot the city. And there are beaches just outside the city on Tybee Island.

In addition to beaches, world-class golf courses and other accommodations are on Hilton Head Island, SC, and Georgia’s Golden Isles, including St. Simons and Jekyll islands, are all within an hour’s drives of Liberty County. And the metropolitan exprience of Jacksonville, FL, is within two hours.
