Rapid REsponse to RFI

LCDA’s staff works to provide complete, timely responses to all requests for information.

Suitable Sites

Sites of various sizes are available in Authority owned industrial parks, two of which are GRAD (Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development) certified.  Phase 1, historic, cultural, archeological, and environmental studies have been completed for the parks.

Site Exhibits

Engineer-drawn building layout exhibits are provided showing potential sites parceled to project specific requirements.

Pre-Construction

Authority staff provide contact information on experienced coastal Georgia architectural/engineering firms, construction companies, landscaping companies, etc.

Permitting

Authority staff work closely with county permitting officials to facilitate expeditious permitting process and approval.  County officials work to assure occupancy permits are issued at the earliest possible date.

Workforce Recruiting

Authority staff provide contact information and introductions with state and local government as well as private sector recruitment agencies. Pre-employment assessments designed to meet production requirements can also be provided.

For qualified projects, customized, job-specific training can be administered through Georgia Quick Start, working in collaboration with Savannah Technical College. Assistance Exploring Federal/State Grant/Loan Potential: Authority staff will explore potential for federal or state grant/loan assistance if your company has not already made contact with federal or state entities.  The potential for federal or state assistance will depend upon the characteristics of each individual project and will be determined solely by the individual federal or state entities.
